NEWS:We are starting to prepare for the cold weather, and so should you, our fleece hats, capes and cloaks are coming back out, so look for our winter clothing at our events or order your specific color online! In September, we were at the Battle of Badon Hill, a Dagorhir event held annually in Somerset, PA. While the rain put a damper on things, it was great to come out for the one of the bigger battle camp events of the year and we look forward to attending more battles in the future.
In August, ConnectiCon was a blast - we ran over 20 tournaments and had a horde of players - we'll try to get some of the movies online soon! Many thanks to all who came out to help and made the event a success, as well as everyone who took a chance and played! Rob Hubbard won the Tournament of Champions, and will be back with us next year to defend his title as The Champion of CTiCon for 2009. Congrat's to Rob, who will receive a free badge for CTiCon 2010!
Among our new items are Iron Leige Weapons,
in particular, latex foam polearms with fabric thrusting tips, two
handed swords, elven short swords and 40" hammers with soft black
fabric covered padding on the heads. Dagorhir-friendly
weapons are here! Best Dag Stuff, run by Bruce (Brutus) Lindsay, carries all sorts of weapons and great Dagorhir foam, and we carry polearms/glaives, complete with thursting tips and corrugated plastic shields. I also carry many of Brutus's swords, so let either of us know if you need full contact foam weapons, and we'd be happy to help you!
Thanks for your support and keep checking for more updates! We rely on your support and your reviews to others for much of our business - you don't see something you'd like, please ask!
Sign up for our mailing list and you will recieve our updates (though not generally more than 6-12 a year). We never sell or give out our mailing list info, so your personal information is safe with us.

I had a great time out at Ragnarok, Dagorhir's biggest annual battle event, held June 20th through June 28th. I'll have Dagorhir style weapons in the catalog shortly, as I'm now working with Bruce Lindsay of Best Dag Stuff and also making some of my own designs, particularly glaives, two handed swords and shields. I'm definitely looking forward to next year, and am also making plans for attending the Badon Hill Battle in September.
July 30th to August 2nd, we'll be at ConnectIcon, in Hartford, CT. We'll be running foam combat tournaments in addition to the booth, and I am seeking volunteers to help out. Our schedule is online on their website, the location will be announced onsite. For more details on helping us and attending the con for free, as well as potential free hotel room space, please contact me directly.

In our news... Now you can check out our wares at The Gamer's Gambit,
in Fairlawn, NJ. We have a small representation of clothing, latex
weapons and boffer weapons there, but you can always order what you'd
like and pick it up at the store.
If you would like to arrange to have boffer tournaments run at your event or convention, please contact us. Movies of some of our Connecticon Tourneys are available as examples. We can also run boffer and other fun medieval-themed tournaments at birthday parties.
We now have Iron Liege
hybrid polearms and will have two handed swords - not that our existing
boffer polearms aren't fantastic, but latex hybrids will look quite
realistic, be larping legal at a number of larps and be 6ft long with
thrusting tips. Pictures will be up in the catalog soon. Keep in
mind, if you are looking for custom-made weapons - Iron Liege is a
great place to ask. I will be carrying a number of the larger weapons
- and hope to expand it to staves, maces and hammers, and other weapons
soon.
Some of our new items
include sturdy canvas belt pouches, single pocket and double pocket,
more vests, shields, belts and limited customizable embroidery (by
request). We're still slowly updating pictures, so keep checking for
new and seasonal items! Some of the items available in our store are
not yet on the site, so if you saw something I don't have in the
catalog, please ask! I will generally respond within a day or two at
the most.
Some people have noticed an issue sending email from certain web
services, if you do not receive an answer to direct email fairly
quickly, my alternate email is rking(at)nerolarp(.)com.
Anyone interested in our events and on a monthly
calendar update, please sign up for the Newsletter. Your email will
only be used to send out Feast and our Event Calendar Updates - we'll never sell or
trade your email for any reason! If you receive a Newsletter and do
not wish to, please contact us and your name and email will be removed
from our list.
If you are interested
in LARPing or Renaissance Faires, feel free to ask us about them! Not
only do we carry LARPing supplies, but we can also help with costume
and character development, and will work with you to fit your budgetary
needs.

More event info:
June 13-15th, we had a great time at the NERO Massachusetts event in Franklin MA. We were also at the Totally Normal Event run by Jeff Mach on June 28th in Whippany, NJ. This is an indoor Rennaisance Festival-like event, and open to ages 16+. We'll be at their February 2009 event as well, a fun time was had by all! We're also looking into PhilCon, in Cherry Hill, in November, where we may be running boffer tournies and other fun stuff. Check it out - more info will be posted as the time gets closer!
Thanks for all your support!
